There was a good turn out last night for the IQ Network's member evening in the Irish Computer Society. The topic of the evening was W.Edwards Deming's Red Bead experiment which, as expected, lead to a lot of thought and discussion.. and most importantly fun. Daragh O Brien provided a quick run down of the plans of the IQ Network for 2007. Details of our plan and objectives will be posted up on the site shortly
The real business of the night however was the cake and celebrations for our 2nd birthday. Edwina in the ICS managed to rustle up a few candles for us and we celebrated the birthday in style with the finest cakes available from the cornershop. Our Convenor demonstrated the importance of proper checks in your processes when he realised he'd brought his camera but left the batteries for it at home... luckily Mary Levis was on hand with a camera phone to save the day. As soon as we have the photo we'll post it up here. Thanks to all who came along and we look forward to seeing you again at our next events.
