Active ImageThe IAIDQ has commenced a series of quarterly surveys of its members world wide to get a finger on the pulse of the issues, needs and hopes of Information Quality professionals around the globe.

317 members were emailed for the first of these surveys.

"With this first survey we are trying to get an understanding of the priorities of our members in terms of what the IAIDQ should be, how it should postion itself in the world and the issues we should be tagging as priority items for our strategy for the future", says Lisa Dodson (President IAIDQ).

"The first phase of our global strategic plan involved us getting the Board thinking on these strategic issues and being in a position to present something to our members that they could either agree or disagree with. In our day jobs we've all experienced the 'blank page' effect and we wanted to avoid that.",says Daragh O Brien VP Publicity IAIDQ and Convenor of the IQ Network, "Now we have a 'strawman' of ideas that we are testing with our members to tune the brand, mission and vision to reflect the wants, needs and goals of our members. Direct feedback to us has been very positive so far."

IAIDQ members in Ireland will have received an email from Daragh over the past few days that contains a link to an on-line survey. The survey will take about 10 minutes to fill out. Responses will be published in the IAIDQ's newsletter and on the IAIDQ website. The IQ Network website will also feature some of the analysis.

If you believe you should have received the survey but haven't, please drop Daragh an This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
